Our Story – The Transition from Wasave
Blue Vista represents the strategic evolution of Wasave Sdn Bhd, undertaken to strengthen governance, sharpen market positioning, and expand the Group’s regional capabilities.
The reorganisation consolidates our technical expertise, partnerships, and project development activities under a clearer, more scalable group structure — enabling us to better serve high-energy-consumption industries navigating energy transition, efficiency, and sustainability mandates.
Our strategy focuses on:

- Offering capex-sharing and zero-capex models to accelerate adoption
- Expanding into clean energy asset ownership through dedicated SPVs
- Building regional execution capability across Southeast Asia and select international markets

LEADERSHIP TEAM
Norman Chia
Norman Chia leads Blue Vista Group’s overall strategy, project development, and regional partnerships across clean energy infrastructure, LNG-to-power solutions, combined heat and power (CHP), and energy advisory services.
He holds a Bachelor of Business (Management & Marketing) with Honours in Marketing, and brings a multidisciplinary background spanning banking, venture capital, green energy, real estate development, mining projects, and regional corporate branding.
His early career exposure to structured finance and investment evaluation has shaped his commercial approach to project origination, risk allocation, and capital-efficient energy solutions.
Luc Pereira
Luc Pereira leads Food Security Ventures at Blue Vista Group, driving the development and commercialisation of the Group's energy enabled food security business (Blue Vista Food)
He is responsible for business development, strategic partnerships, investor relations, government engagement, fundraising and market expansion, supporting the growth of Blue Vista's integrated energy and food security value chain.
Prior to joining Blue Vista, Luc built experience across business development, corporate communications, marketing and the creative industries while gaining international business exposure through cross border engagements. His multidisciplinary background enables him to bridge commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement and market execution, translating emerging technologies into scalable business opportunities.
